MELBA PARK FAMILY FUN
Did you know that the Lilydale Show is one of the Yarra Ranges premium events, attracting up to 20,000 people across 2 days? With all the excitement and carnival atmosphere of all large Agricultural and Horticultural Shows across our State, the Lilydale Show combines exciting community and business displays with traditional Show-time activities such as face painting, farmyard animals and reptile displays, wood-chopping, arts and crafts and even cake decorating.
We invite you to come along and showcase your Community Organisation or Group in our Melba Park Family Precinct. It costs nothing to take part and you will form an integral part of the Show. Melba Park comprises of community groups, emergency service interactive displays, music and dancing exhibitions, free activities for the kids and a fun family atmosphere across the entire weekend.
The Society wants to continue a family theme for Melba Park in 2011 and ideally we are looking for groups who can provide interactive points of interest, demonstrations or activities which will make this Family Precinct a great experience for all our visitors. Fund Raising activities are also welcome for a nominal site fee.
