OPEN PRESERVES

Minimum 350grams/500mls jar/bottle to be used.

No Fancy Covers permitted. If paraffin is used, it must be THIN.

All exhibits to be labelled and dated for identification eg. apricot jam, tomato sauce etc.

Exhibit ticket and label on same face. Please tape Section Ticket to Exhibit.

No rubber bands, no corks.

Classes 1-7 up to 3 entries allowed, but MUST be distinct varieties.

Class

1. One Jar Berry Jam - one kind, no mixture.

2. One Jar Fruit Jam. No berries.

3. One Jar Mixed Jam. Any combination (or one fruit and one vegetable).

4. One Jar Jelly.

5. One Jar Household Marmalade.

6. One jar of fruit or vegetable Chutney with vinegar.

7. One Jar Preserved Vegetable/s with vinegar.

8. One Jar Fruit Mince.

9. One Jar Lemon Butter.

10. One jar of marinated olives

11. One Jar Mustard Pickles

12. One Jar Tomato Relish

13. One jar of Pickles onions

14. One Bottle Plum Sauce.

15. One Bottle Tomato Sauce.

16. One bottle Strawberry Dessert Sauce.

SOCIETY ROSETTE will be awarded to the Best Exhibit in Classes 1-16.

Class 16 only - cash prize donated by Victorian Strawberry Growers Assoc.

TROPHY AND SASH will be awarded to the Most Successful Exhibitor in Classes 1-16
